In 1992, Franklins Big Fresh was launched. This was a "food barn" format Dairy Farm had developed in New Zealand as "Big Fresh".

The first egg beaters appeared in the 1850's and since that time more than 1000 patents have been awarded for different designs. Dover egg beaters were so popular that at one point the generic term "dovering eggs" was used to describe the egg beating process in recipes. Dover egg beaters remain very collectable today. Another 80’s clothing icon – stirrup pants.Did you have a pair of these?
These were originally worn by equestrians, but from the mid 80’s and into the 90’s, became a fashion trend. Last year attempts at a come-back for these were seen on the runway at several international fashion shows.
It wasn't too many years ago that the only 'fancy' toilet paper you could get was coloured toilet paper.

The Wizard of New Zealand (born Ian Brackenbury Channell, London). Humourist. He started preaching from atop a ladder in Cathedral Square, Christchurch in 1974, and in 1990 became the only person ever to be appointed Official Wizard of a country by a modern government. He was awarded the Queen's Service Medal in the Birthday Honours list of 2009.
